Kello on kolme (aamulla, totta kai!) halusin pelata. Äiti halusin nukkua, mutta minä olin pelaaminen. Hehehe. Later she brushed me, which was not so much fun. I tried to sit in the box of brushes to stop it.
Veli Stran played lots today with me. Hän on iso kissa mutta hän on hyvin hellä. Hän on paras ystäväni.
Mutta hän syö minun ruokani. Voi voi.

I was a little upset in the night as I was asleep on Äiti and she moved, and I made a puddle as I was surprised. It is very embarrassing for a kitten-cat to do this but I still got a cuddle. And this morning Äiti did not go to 'work' (which she also calls 'school' - that is funny - I thought she was grown up so why go to school - I guess it must be to learn Finnish as she is so bad at rolling her 'r's). So I helped her work here. I chased her fingers as she typed and then she stopped! I tried to kill the thing called 'mouse' because that is what we cats must do. She told me that if we lived in England that she would be away longer and could not work so much at home,and when she was home she would be tired. I do not like the sound of this England place.
It was a long time before Äiti came back tonight so I was really hungry! I had had a good long sleep so now I'm going to play all night!!!!!!!

Veli Monty is no longer here and Äiti has been very sad. He was not well and Äiti tried to explain that sometimes humans have to do some very hard things to stop pain, and now he will be chasing string and eating lihapullat ja lohi whenever he wants. I do not understand but Veli Stran says I am young and must play and enjoy life. after all we only have 9 of them. Everyone has been playing with me more and that has been fun. I have been running faster and my claws are getting stronger (Äiti was not happy when I made marks on her knee as I slid down it). I am also enjoying chewing things too.
And today was very strange too: Äiti disappeared early and came back late. The others have said it is like that for 5 days and then for 2 she is here, and sometimes we are lucky and she is here more. It is something to do with earning money so we can have food so I guess it is important she goes out but it was boring. I did lots of sleeping and cuddling my fish.
And when he was awake I played with Veli Stran. My other brothers (Harris and Lewis) are very frightened at times and even though they are big adult cats they are wimps! They were kept in a shed for 4 years with only food and no play so it is hard for them. Äiti is so happy when Veli Harris plays with me. I wish he wouldn't run away so much though!

Today Veli Stran and I played chase so I have had to sleep and eat a lot to keep my energy up. Sisko Islay only hissed at me twice and she tried to play too. But I think she is jealous as she is no longer the baby of the family!
Veli Monty let me eat from his bowl, and I could not help hitting his tail when he was asleep but he was really good and did not smack me. He has been telling me stories of what it was like living on the streets in a faraway place called Bristol in England. I was only outside for a short time - he was sleeping rough for at least a year before he got really thin (even thinner than he is now) and his fur was falling out and he got taken to a place to make him better, and then he went to a nice home with Äiti. And then he and all the others went on two huge planes to become Finncats here in Oulu. He says in England there are hundreds of poor cats and kittens on the streets and they are treated very badly with no food and even horrid people who shoot them (Veli Stran was shot but he never talks about it). I would not like to be there. I am pleased to be here with lots of food, and toys, and hands and feet to bite. I could always have more food though - sometimes Äiti doesn't listen everytime I want a new pouch of Latz.

Äiti let me out of my 'prison' at 6am when I began yelling (I do not often make a sound),so I came out and played. Sisko Islay even tried to play a bit but Veli Stran is best but he has big paws so I must be careful.

Today Äiti went to buy lots of food. She went to Musti ja Mirri - she had not been there before. Voi voi. Who has not heard of them!? She spent lots of euros and came home telling us we must be good if we were going to get a huge cat castle. I think she should get it soon before the others are too fat and old to climb! Hehehehe.
She says she has bought me special food too, but said I had to be good or I would go to the chocolate factory. Minä en ymmarrä.....

I have had another busy, busy day. Luckily I have had at least five sleeps in between lots of exploring. Veli Stran has been good to me and we have even been playing a bit. But I like more to follow Äiti. She shut the door on me when she disappeared into a very hot room and said it wasn't safe for me. I wonder why? Islay told me she often goes in there and it is only for Big Cats. Well one day I will be bigger than her!
Monty cat has bad kidneys so I have decided he can eat my food.
Veli Harris has just come to see me and has attacked the arm of the sofa (Äiti is not happy as there is a huge 'scratching post' right by it - but I think Harris can teach me many things). Harris is very shy apparently but he really stared at me and didn't hiss which was good. I will like him if he doesn't steal my fish toy and keeps showing me fun things to do.
I also learnt some physics by following a 'laser' light. I thought it was pretty and I was tired after running around a lot. There are also lots of little mice to chase here, but they don't move until you hit them. I also played on the computer and showed my tummy to Äiti's friends in England. I do not know why they like my curly fur so much - but I suppose I am very proud of my fluff. They say I am the fluffiest kitten they have ever seen, and maybe even I was a 'tribble'. I think maybe 'trouble'. Hehe.

Yesterday was exhausting! I met my brothers and sister. SHE is hissy and not so nice. Her name is Islay which is very strange to read and doesn't sound like it should: should 'Aila'. I think she wanted my fish toy but she cannot have it: se on minun! Minun kala!
My brothers also hissed but Monty seems kind and I must always thank him because it was his vet visit that got me a home. He is not well too and must go to see Riitta-Liisa again today.
ÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖP As you can see I like playing on the keyboard! Äiti told me that there were better places to wash though and I should be careful of electricity.....
Veli Stran looks lovely and comfortable. I wonder if he might be my isä but everyone laughed at that. I hope he will be my friend and we can play fish games together.
I am the size of his tail but I cannot fit under him as he has a big fluffy tummy!
My tummy is getting less tight so I think the nasty worms I have had are going. My fur feels better too but I am not sure I like being combed. Must go off to explore now......

Well, this is all a bit different from walking the streets yesterday. I cannot remember what happened before then but now I am warm, have food and Äiti seems to be nice. I didn't like it when she brushed my chin, but now I do feel better as my fur is not knotted. She gives me food and plays with me (I like biting her toes!).
I was locked in a room all night, but the radio was on (my English is now very good as it was the World Service: I must be a very important cat to be listening to that!). I could hear my family outside and I am a bit worried about meeting them, but have been practicing being big and strong with my new toy.
My tummy is still a bit big and swollen but that does not stop me eating yummy food. Äiti was so pleased I found the litter tray - I cannot think why as every decent kitten knows what to do and where to go! Humans are silly. Silly that she left the light on too at night! It is all very tiring though and sometimes I do just need a little snooze.
